Understanding the App Statuses

When you submit an app on Console Logs, it goes through a review process to ensure it meets our platform's standards and guidelines. Throughout this process, your app may go through different statuses, each representing a specific stage in the approval journey. Here's a breakdown of each status and what it means:

  1. Draft Your app is in draft when you’ve started creating it but haven’t submitted it for review yet. Drafts allow you to refine and perfect your app before it’s ready for evaluation. This is the stage where you can make as many changes as needed.

  2. Review After you complete your app submission, it enters the Review status. At this stage, our compliance team checks the app for quality, compliance with our guidelines, and overall functionality. It’s a waiting period, during which you cannot make further edits until the review is complete.

  3. Approved If your app meets all our requirements, it moves to the Approved status. Apps in this status are live on the platform and available for purchase by users. An approved status means that your app has passed our checks and is ready to reach potential buyers.

  4. Rejected If your app doesn't align with our quality standards or fails to meet the platform's guidelines, it will receive a Rejected status. Apps in this status are not live on the platform, but don’t worry—you can make the necessary changes based on the feedback provided and resubmit the app for another review.

  5. Flagged An app can move into the Flagged status if it was initially approved but later detected to have issues, such as policy violations or user complaints. Apps in this status are temporarily removed from the marketplace until you address the issue. Once you make the required adjustments, you can re-submit the app for review.

  6. Archived When an app is no longer relevant or you decide to retire it, you can move it to the Archived status. Apps in this status are not visible to buyers and won’t generate further sales. Archiving is a good way to keep your dashboard clean without permanently deleting your work.
