Track revenue generated from apps
Keep an eye on your earnings effortlessly with the revenue tracking feature in the apps dashboard. Here, you can view detailed insights into how much revenue each of your apps has generated over time. The dashboard breaks down your earnings, allowing you to see your total sales and income from individual apps. With these insights, you can better understand which apps are performing well and make informed decisions to maximise your profits.
Here’s what you can track:
- Total Earnings: This displays the cumulative revenue you've earned from all your apps since you started selling on Console Logs.
- This Week's Earnings: See a summary of your revenue from the current week. This helps you stay updated on recent performance and track your progress more closely, making it easier to adjust your marketing strategies or promotions as needed. Note that this week's earnings reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC, giving you a fresh start each week to monitor your progress.
All of these figures are calculated after deducting platform charges, so you always have an accurate view of your earnings. Use this data to track your growth, strategise your next steps, and focus on the apps that are bringing in the most revenue!
Understanding the App Status Tables in the Dashboard
The apps dashboard is organised into five different tables, each displaying apps based on their current state. This helps you easily manage and track the status of all your apps, from creation to publication. Here’s a breakdown of what each table represents:
-
Draft Apps: This table includes all the apps that are still in the creation phase. If you’ve started working on a new app but haven’t submitted it for review or publishing yet, it will be listed here. You can continue editing these drafts anytime before submitting them for approval.
-
Apps under Review: Once you've completed your app and submitted it for review, it will appear in the Apps under Review table. Apps in this table are waiting for review by the Console Logs team. While the app is under review, you won’t be able to make any changes until a decision has been made. This table helps you keep track of apps that are in the approval process.
-
Approved Apps: Once your app is submitted for review and gets approved, it moves to the Approved Apps table. Apps listed here are live on the platform and visible to potential buyers. This is your go-to spot for tracking all the apps that are currently available for purchase.
-
Rejected Apps: If an app submission doesn't meet the platform’s guidelines or standards, it will appear in the Rejected Apps table. Here, you can review any feedback provided, make necessary adjustments to your app, and re-submit it for approval.
-
Flagged Apps: The Flagged Apps table shows apps that were published but have been taken down due to an issue, such as a policy violation or user complaints. This allows you to address any problems, make corrections, and work towards getting your app back online.
-
Archived Apps: When an app becomes outdated, deprecated, or you choose to retire it, it is moved to the Archived Apps table. These apps are no longer available for purchase but are stored here for reference or potential future updates.
Each table is designed to help you manage the entire lifecycle of your apps, from initial drafts to active listings, and even those that are no longer live. This way, you can always keep track of where your apps stand and take action when needed.
Managing Your Apps with the Menu Options
Each app, except those that are currently under review, comes with a menu option beside its name. This menu provides a few useful actions to help you manage your apps more efficiently. Depending on the app's status, the available options may include:
- Edit: Make changes to the app's details before resubmitting or republishing.
- View: See how your app looks on the platform or check the details.
- Delete: Remove a draft or an app that you no longer want to keep.
- Archive: For apps that you no longer wish to maintain or want to keep them live.
These menu options make it easy to edit, update, or archive your apps directly from the dashboard, giving you full control over the status and availability of your apps on the platform.
